Registering the person continuing a trade after the entrepreneur’s death in the trade licensing register

On the basis of the continuing person’s notification of the continuation of the deceased entrepreneur’s trade, the trade licensing office will register the information on the continuing person to the relevant trade of the deceased entrepreneur in the trade licensing register. In this case, the continuing person is not issued any notification of the fact that registration in the trade licensing register has been made.

If the continuing person requests an extract from the trade licensing register after the registration in the trade licensing register has been made, such extract will be issued by the trade licensing register or a public administration contact point (CzechPOINT) at the continuing person’s request.
