Time limits

For entrepreneurs, the Trade Licensing Act sets the time limit as follows: submissions in respect of the application for termination of a trade authorisation must be made by the entrepreneur no later than the day at the end of which the trade authorisation terminates by the decision to terminate it upon request.

If the submission is free of defects, the trade licensing office will decide on the application for termination without delay, but no later than 30 days from the submission of the application, unless there are other impediments to the decision. Subsequently, it will register the termination of the trade authorisation in the trade licensing register within the general statutory time limit of 5 working days from the date of entry into force of the decision to terminate.
