Registering information on an establishment in the trade licensing register
If the submission is free of defects or any defects in the submission have been rectified, the trade licensing office will deal with submissions in respect of the notification of information on carrying on a trade at an establishment in accordance with Section 17(6) of the Trade Licensing Act, or possibly Section 60(2)(o) of the Trade Licensing Act in the case of the notification of the place where any liabilities can be settled (Section 31(16) of the Trade Licensing Act), as follows: The result of the entrepreneur’s submission in respect of the notification of information on carrying on a trade at an establishment is therefore the registration of the establishment in the trade licensing register, which is also notified to other public administration authorities in accordance with the Trade Licensing Act. Information on registered establishments is part of the public section of the trade licensing register. The entrepreneur is informed about the registration of the information on the establishment in the trade licensing register through the document entitled Notification of the registration of information on an establishment in the trade licensing register, which contains: When registering the place where liabilities, if any, may be settled, the law does not impose any obligation to issue a notification of registration in the trade licensing register. The trade licensing office may issue the relevant document e.g. for the purpose of the entrepreneur’s legal certainty or at their request.
