Pursuant to Section 17(3) of the Trade Licensing Act, the entrepreneur must notify the trade licensing office of the termination of a trade in advance. By not doing so, the entrepreneur puts themselves at risk of an administrative penalty (sanction) for non-compliance. In the notification of the termination of the trade, the entrepreneur must indicate the actual date on which they have terminated or intend to terminate the relevant trade at the establishment. The obligation to notify the termination of a trade at an establishment does not apply (as in the case of the notification of the commencement of a trade at an establishment) to vending machines and mobile establishments.
