List of trades

The lists of the different trades and fields of unqualified trade activity are given in annexes to the Trade Licensing Act:

• Annex 1 to the Trade Licensing Act – Vocational trades
• Annex 2 to the Trade Licensing Act – Professional trade
• Annex 3 to the Trade Licensing Act – Permitted trades
• Annex 4 to the Trade Licensing Act – Unqualified trade, divided into fields of activity

The trades listed in Annexes 1 to 3 are generally referred to as regulated trades, i.e. trades for which the Trade Licensing Act or other legal regulations prescribe conditions both for obtaining a trade authorisation to carry on such trades and for carrying on such trades.

The content of individual trades and fields of unqualified trade activity

The classification of a specific activity under a trade is regulated by Government Regulation No. 278/2008 Sb., on the content of individual trades. Its current version is available here.
